Hello everyone! I noticed recently that it's officially been over a year since I joined Newgrounds, and that I also hit 50 followers today! I know some people will say that technically that's not a lot by NG standards, but I don't care! I'm very happy, and I'm glad you're all here! Thank you so much for following me, and I hope my drawings continue to make you smile!

That being said, I'm here to showcase my top favorite drawings that I've posted on here so far! I'll separate them into 2 categories, 12 pieces each! Original (OCs) and fan art! Thank you again for all of the support! I'm glad you're here, and I hope you have a great day!

There's something that’s been on my mind, and I want to talk about it on here real quick. I'm posting it publicly because it's something I think a lot of other artists can also probably relate to. I'm not always the best at putting things into words, but I'll try! I want to talk about artistic comparison, and how unhelpful it can be.

Why do we always compare our work to others? Why are we putting ourselves down over it? Feeling inspired by someone else's artistic ability is one thing, but when we use that against our own art we're basically just punishing ourselves when we didn't do anything wrong.

Everyone is on their own journey with their art, and it isn't fair to compare where we are personally with where someone else might be. It's easy to feel down about our own drawings when we see someone else's that's produced at a higher skill level, or even if it gets more public interaction. In doing so, we're putting ourselves down because we're focusing on how much further we have to go, instead of celebrating how far we've come!

I say it's time for a nice perspective shift. If you see someone else's art or art style that makes you feel down about yourself at first, think about this instead. What do you like about it? Is it a level you'd like to reach yourself? How does it inspire you? Think of the positives! Then, once that's done, look at what you're capable of at this moment, and feel glad about it!

None of us were born drawing. We all started somewhere, and I'm sure we all cringe when we look at old pieces of art from the past. The fact that we feel that internal cringe is proof we're improving too! Look at how far we've come in our own journeys! We created something! We made something! That's more than good enough for right here and right now. Besides, who knows! Maybe something we've made is something that someone else is looking up to!

Chin up, friend. We got this!

Sorry about the lack of drawings lately! It's the holiday season, and I work in retail. Enough said? I think so. Even so, I've been trying to fill the void by posting some older drawings I keep finding while going through files on my computer, but I still have a lot of plans to draw more once things at work (hopefully!) settle down. I just hope one of these days I won't have to clean up after grown adults who decide to trash our store, at least not as often. The holidays sure do bring out a certain...something in people who shop with us LOL

Anyways, I have a few drawings already thumbed/sketched out, and I can't wait to sit down and finish them! I'm also planning on doing a few more re-draws of old favorites too after I finish the new ones I'm currently working on. (They're both OCs and fan art, so look forward to that!) Also, I noticed that I've gained a few more followers on here, so I just wanted to say thank you all for checking out my work! Hope y'all have a nice day!

So yeah were I live has been getting absolutely pounded with tons of snow lol. I've already shoveled 8 times over the last 2 days and it just keeps filling back in lol. Also I read that photography IS allowed in blog/news posts, so here's a few views from my end of things. GOT SNOW? YEAH, A LITTLE BIT.

My everything hurts but hey at least I had a few days off from work because of All This™

That's actually the whole reason I was able to finish my drawing for Robot Day so early! I finished coloring it and everything after I got the call from my boss that we had to stay closed, so that's kinda cool at least?

Well, I did it! I've officially reached 100 drawings that I've shared over here on my newgrounds! I'm pretty sure it's not really a big deal, but it still feels pretty cool to me, like I've reached a personal NG milestone I didn't even realize I set a goal for!

I guess I feel a lot more confident about sharing more of my art on here too, now that I've also been here long enough at this point! It's easy to feel intimidated because there are so many amazingly talented artists on here, but I digress!

Here's to my 100th art post, and here's to another 100+ more in the future! Cheers y'all!

October is one of my all time favorite months because of the absolutely awesome and spooky Halloween vibes! I also always LOVE the fall weather too, hoodie time is my time! Anyways, the last 3 months of the year are always the best, obviously! All the holiday vibes back to back? Hell yeah! Anyways, my goal for this month is to draw more spooky art! I don't care if it's "cringe" or whatever, it's fun! I'm just here to vibe anyways, and draw whatever I feel like! Let's keep things spooky!

Also! I'm only one art post away from reaching 100 on here! That's exciting too!

As much as I wish I didn't need to work (because I'd rather just be drawing all day than working in retail let's be real here) I'm still feeling pretty optimistic about things are going now! It's been a hard few weeks since my store was so grossly understaffed, but with a few new hires coming in things are starting to look up! Plus I've become closer friends with my co-workers and that helps keep morale up for sure!

I bring this up because part of why I haven't been drawing as much/often is because I've been having to pick up so many other people's work at my job just to keep things rolling, and it would leave me too tired to feel any motivation to draw after clocking out. Now that we finally have some extra help coming in, I think things will finally start to regulate around here, and I'll be able to do more with my free time! I have so many drawings planned/started, and maybe now I'll get to finish them up! Let's gooooo!
